Today is the last day for the year 2007. It brings many happy memories for me in terms of making money and as well as some tragic news like the unlikely assasination of Benazir Bhutto on 27th Dec. She died a martyr. She was full of confidence and victory in the election just minutes before her death by a suicide bomber in Rawalpindi. There is just no explanation to all these terrorists acts.

Also today, I just came back from RHB Bank in Jalan Teh Ewe Lim, near my house. I managed to cash out RM367.59 from my Google Adsense via Western Union for the first time after one and a half years. The bank exchange rate was 3.30 today in RHB. And this month alone, I watched a few movies too like Alvin and the Chipmunks, National Treasure and Golden Compass. As I have promised in my previous post, here are the many photos taken in Genting Highlands during my trip from 21st to 23rd of December.

Happy New Year 2008 to all and Good Bye 2007. Let’s hope 2008 will be another year full of excitement, enjoyment, food, travels and making more money.

I came back from KL last night after 4 days staying in Subang Jaya for business and also to attend my friend’s niece’s wedding dinner in 5-star Nikko Hotel in Ampang, near to KLCC. Below are some of the beautiful photos taken during the trip.

beautiful christmas tree with house
Here is a nice Christmas house with trees in Sunway Pyramid shopping mall in Subang Jaya. You can hardly find such beautiful decorations in Penang.

That’s me para-sailing in Pattaya. The tour guide took this shot for me. It was like clock work with the para-sailing guides lifting one tourist after another.

Landed safely and got rid of the parasailing gear. It was some experience being lifted up to the skies and viewing the seas below. See the queue on my right side waiting to be lifted up in motor boats.

Pattaya has very beautiful unpolluted blue seas and long stretch of white fine sands on the beaches. It is a tourists’ haven. See how many speed boats there are here. I also went for a speed boat ride with my youngest sister with a guide behind us showing how to use the speed boat.

Came back after sea walking (in earlier post) to the white sandy beaches, all wet but very satisfied participating in the many water activities.

In Nong Nooch Tropical Garden. See the sculpted hedges, trees and gardens.

Long almost-langciau-like cacti in the background. Beware, this prick will be ouch! Got the red collared shirt from China with Beijing Olympics 2008 logo in August 2007. It complements the green background and stands out clearly in all my photos.

Big round cacti. This time you don’t see them in little small plastic pots.

A different desert plant. This one is rather spikey like a Christmas tree.

With my youngest sister in sunglasses. Notice how vast the gardens are.

My house is full of photos of our graduation and family gatherings. My dad is an avid photographer and loves to take photos. That’s why the walls are literally full of photos.
It is part of home decorating that spruce up the living room and bed rooms. Even our kitchen has a huge painting from Indonesia.

And you might like to know that Photofiddle photo art is great for decorating, redecorating, personalizing a house or apartment, room, office or just spicing up any space. Most popular photos people use are wedding, holiday, children, pets, vacation, baby and family. It provides a great alternative to same old prints prints and store bought canvases. Photofiddle.com helps create a work of art from any photograph.

I was in Lumut recently for a business trip meet up. Lumut is the town just across to Pulau Pangkor by sea. It is a very short distance to Pulau Pangkor, a secluded island that Joan Collins went for her honeymoon some years back in Malaysia. Here are 9 of the best photos that I have taken in this tourist town. I have also been to Pulau Pangkor by a 10-minute ferry trip some time back, also for business.

Above is a shop selling surf boards in Lumut. There’s also an oil painting on the right side for sale to the tourists.

Here is a sea view of the spanking new township and jetty to Pulau Pangkor behind the shoplots.

Another view of Lumut.

Billboard of tourist waiting room to Pangkor Laut Beach Resort with newpapers and magazines to read and coffee or tea served.

Yellow flowers and red hibiscus floating in a pot of water at the entrance of Pangkor Laut Beach Resort’s waiting room.

Colorful flowers adorn the wooden table in the waiting room of Pangkor Laut Beach Resort. This is the place where tourists can sip coffee and tea while waiting for the arrival of the ferry.

Entrance to the Public Toilet with plenty of ventilation and plants. The entrance to the toilet cost 50 cents.

Here is the view inside the public toilet in Lumut. Notice the interior decoration and fans from the ceiling.

See the exit pathway from the public toilet. The decoration is a welcoming sight.

Shelved under Photos

I just love taking photos and digital photography is my passion. Also I can use Photoshop to tweak and enhance the digital photos at the touch of the mouse clicks. It is my endeavor to put in as many beautiful photos as a picture is worth a thousand words. No number of words can describe the photo and its object or focal point until people see the photos and wonder with awe the beauty of the scenery, the humor injected and more.

Now you can make your photos unique with snazzy frames created just for them. From the ubiquitous wooden frames, to liquid shaped metal types, Christmas themed frames and even the frames of soccer balls and sports. There are so many types of frames to choose from to make your photos stand out from the rest and the frames complement those photos. For a wide selection of frames, check out Photo Frame Show.

Turn your images into original and impressive creations in just a few steps with their digital photo software - Photo Frame Show! You can enhance your desktop wallpapers, personal albums, projects, or web site images by downloading the frames you want individually, or alternatively by downloading the entire collection, and adding them to your digital photos.

double sauce pork with rice
The above photo is my sister’s birthday treat from me recently in Honkie Kopitiam Restaurant. She ordered double sauce of white sauce with red sauce poured over baked rice with pork. By the way, if you are in Hong Kong, don’t ever call the people Honkie which is a bad word to them. They prefer to be known as Hong Kongers. Just like Penang residents are known as Penangites and not Pennies or Penais!

Equatorial Hotel
The top photo shows the trees and pond of kois swimming blend together with the structure of Equatorial Hotel. There is a bridge too amongst the lush greenery. The pond is quite shallow, so you can see the colorful orange, red and white kois swimming gracefully. I suppose some people believe keeping kois in your house brings luck.

flowers
