My boss just called and I will go to Langkawi at about 3:00pm this evening. This is a business trip and I should be back the next day. I have been to this sleepy group of islands numerous times and feel very relaxed with much greenery and slower pace of life here in the mostly village type of lifestyle. The happening place is Kuah where the Langkawi’s government complex, LADA, shopping lots, food outlets and more are situated here.

I was in Kuala Lumpur again from 23 - 26 of April 2007 for business. Had to meet up with some clients for sports courts. I hope my boss will be able to clinch the deal and get continuous jobs for his 8 workers who are paid daily wages. Don’t forget that these 8 workers have 8 different families to feed and clothe. As I stayed in the company’s rented apartment instead of a hotel, it saves cost in the long run.
My dream is to visit Europe one of these days. All my family members have been to Europe separately. My dad on a Reliance tour on his own, my mum followed her sister and sponsored by her, my second sister for a Girl Guide overseas trip and my youngest sister studied in UK for 9 months for her final year degree program.
If you like to visit Amsterdam, check out Easy To Book, a very attractive website with my favorite colors of bright green trees and cheerful orange. You can book Amsterdam hotels of up to 75%. There is a choice to select the currency type, (euros, pounds or dollars), pick your dates and just click on the Search button for a whole list of affordable Amsterdam hotels to stay.
Besides Amsterdam, you can also go to Barcelona and Rome hotels to stay for your much needed vacation like me. Check out the room rates and view the suites that you like. Even a simple room for 2 or a family of more. This is a booking site not to be missed - Book Amsterdam Hotel.
I was back from KL a few days ago and was very busy with followups and quotations. In fact, tomorrow morning, I shall be going to KL to settle the rest of the work and hopefully my boss can close the sale by tomorrow. It has been a hectic weekend and even working on a Sunday. There are so many things to do that we have to bypass the ‘makan’ (foodie) time after church service in my local church here in Penang. I will continue to blog now and then when there is time.

I shall be travelling more frequently now as my company business will be concentrated more in Kuala Lumpur. We have already rented a condo for business purposes and need to furnish it with a computer, printer, fax, etc. This way, whenever we travel from Penang, there will be a savings cost instead of staying in a hotel. Let’s say the hotel stay is RM250 per night. If there are many trips down per month, say 10 days of stay, then it would cost RM2,500 but our rental is RM800 for whole month. Plus a bit of spending on furniture, etc, it will save the company money in the long run.
If you have the gambler’s luck and win often, you might like to check out MacPoker Online. Using a green and black theme, which I thought was quite attractive and resembled the greenback of the USA currency, this site allows gamers to play online and earn cash at the same time if they are lucky enough. In every game there is a strategy and you play against the computer with some probability to win money and points.
Moreover, there is another variation of poker called Pacific Poker which one of the first online poker rooms and has been operating since 1996. The site shows the screen layout of the game where you can download online and start playing. You can also earn bonus points just by playing from 25% up to $100 plus $1000 freeroll.
And if you are still looking for other poker games, fret not. You have FullTilt Poker, Poker Stars and Poker Bonus. You can take a tour of all the sites and play for free for a limited time to try out the features. In my opinion, the site layouts are well designed and obviously done by a pro. Do check them out if you love gambling.
I was back from KL yesterday evening and my company just rented a place for future office use in Subang Jaya. It was a condominium in Subang Perdana Court. My boss just paid about RM4k for the furniture and that’s not all yet. There are still computer, tables, etc to be furnished. We have visited a few clients and stayed in The Submit Hotel and Pyramid Tower, Sunway. I think there will be less time for part time blogging as I am so busy with my office work. But I will still blog when time permits now and then.

Similar to PayPerPost, Bloggerwave is a new program that pays you to blog and review products and services. I am quite excited of this new spanking program which was just launched recently. They even have a dash board which is rather similar to PPP and I have just submitted my 4 blogs that were approved the next day. The opportunities have good payouts and you are paid by paypal.
It was hectic but I am back from an outstation business trip recently. We stayed in Grand Continental Hotel in KL for 1 nite to meet up with 3 business clients and then headed to the Mutiara hotel in Johor just beside Holiday Plaza. After Johor, we headed to First World Hotel in Genting for a break before coming back to Penang. That’s why the blog was not updated for quite some time. Not to forget, I had to send in my computer to have the main card changed and this will take another 3 days. So now I am using the company laptop for my business work and personal blogging.
