In case all the beach hotels are fully booked during the school holidays and during peak seasons, you can have your getaway in Equatorial Hotel and swim in their lovely pools surrounded by palm trees.

You can even walk and experience at close range the waterfalls only in this hotel. On the right side of this photo, is the waterfall and behind it are man-made rock formations where you can feel the coolness of the waterfalls as you walk beneath the synthetic rocks.

The top photo shows the trees and pond of kois swimming blend together with the structure of Equatorial Hotel. There is a bridge too amongst the lush greenery. The pond is quite shallow, so you can see the colorful orange, red and white kois swimming gracefully. I suppose some people believe keeping kois in your house brings luck.

The second photo above shows the skillful assemble of brown clay pot, wooden bench with colorful flowers during the recent Flora Fest 2007 in KL.

The above pictures were taken recently in Equatorial Hotel, Penang for the recent Flora Fest 2007 in Kuala Lumpur. The flowers were arranged in the letters of the theme. For the second picture above, I could not resist taking a snap shot of the chrysanthemums, bourganvilleas and green leaves.
