As we grow up from babies to kids, and teenagers to adults who have graduated from the varsity, our next step is to find a job and after some years of working, it is time to settle down with your partner and time to find a home. This is where many people may need the services of real estate companies like Grayhawk Real Estate to help suggest a suitable home that suits your budget and taste.

Grayhawk also has a wide variety of single family homes and home builders to choose from located within The Park and The Retreat’s. Grayhawk’s Park is a 497-acre neighborhood as is comprised of gated a non gated homes located throughout the community. These homes can range from 1800 square feet to over 2400 square feet and these homes offer 2 to 4 bedrooms and pricing can vary from $450,000 to over $700,000. From my own experience, looking for a home can be a daunting experience especially when you have limited time to check out the homes and the neighborhood. If you are lucky, you will find a home with a respectable quiet neighborhood without the crazy dogs barking at odd hours disturbing people in the vicinity. You home is your sanctuary where after a hard day’s work, you need to come back and rest and not to endure noise pollution, people quarreling often or simply unsafe neighborhood. Hence, remove the stress from buying or selling and let The Holm Group assist you today.

Yesterday I was at Borders in Queensbay Mall for dinner. Actually the plan was to watch a movie, Mall Cop, a comedy but it was too late when we arrived since my friend had errands to run and to bank in cash to workers. So we ended up in Borders after dinner at Wong Kok. I was reading a book entitled Money $ense written by a government employee to help debt defaulters pay back their loans and to teach them to live within their means. I finished reading the whole book as it was not a thick manual. Managed to learn that endowment insurance means protection plus savings which is very attractive and I might just invest in one. And for you who have extra cash, you might like to consider investing in silver - one of the metal commodities that is traded internationally.

Almost every day I have quotations to prepare and type out. I also need to calculate the price based on clients’ court size. There are so many options and it takes about 15-20 minutes to prepare 1 quotation. This is my nature of job since 5 years ago when I started to work from a home office. Though there are so many enquiries from the internet, very few actually become our customers. There are so many issues to handle like logistics, import, telegraphic transfer to supplier, etc. Relaxing and retirement is not an option for me as I am needed to assist the company in whatever capacity that I am able. We are a small but dynamic one with everyone playing their part from the head honcho to the installers.

In this economic downturn and global recession, even making money online also takes a toll. The pay to blog opportunities are fewer and pays less from PPP (PayPerPost) and I am amazed that an obnoxious housewife blogger - chan lilian - managed to earn more than USD15k from blogging for PPP. She boasts to her readers how much she has made and I could see from the login (not anymore) that she is the top ten big earner in PPP. So much benefit for dissing other bloggers and creating controversy. That’s what she thrives on to get more traffic and to earn more money. Well, she is not the type of person I like to associate with as she is also very competitive and jealous of other people’s blessings. Stay away from her!

This Chinese New Year, I will be in Haadyai with my family for 4 days 3 nights. My second sister came out from Suchou in China to be with us this CNY and to celebrate as a family doing things together. We plan to do some shopping for clothes and go for massages which are so affordable. The three of us will treat our parents CNY dinner, one for each night during this occasion. A chartered van will come pick us up from our home in Penang and drive up north to the same hotel that we have stayed last year, also for CNY. I would like to take this opportunity to wish all my Chinese readers, “A Happy Chinese New Year 2009″!

I will be going down to Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia from Penang later this evening. Most likely we will reach KL after 10:00pm if we set off at 5:00pm. My colleague will have a meeting with his existing client, a Japanese company based in KL. This seems to be the trend of Japanese companies to keep having meetings to be informed of what’s going on and to feedback to my colleague. The trip will take about 5 hours on average by car and I have to start packing my lap top so that I can continue to check emails and work despite being outstation.

This is my first post for the new year 2009. It literally started with a big bang of fireworks behind my house at the stroke of midnight. I did not go to church as there was no service to usher in the new year as my church is a small one of about 700+ members. But my parents are going to their bigger churches to celebrate the new year and to reflect on the eventful happenings in 2008. I guess for me, 2009 won’t make much difference from 2008 and I will continue to work from home office for a friend in his sports building business. Let us all enjoy the new year and have resolutions set aside to make them into achievable goals.

Despite the economic gloom, revelers all around the world are celebrating Christmas with much merriment and cheer. Christmas is a time to share, to forgive and to enjoy the season with partying and shopping. There is less of Santa Claus now as many people are jobless and hardly have money to spend and buy presents for loved ones. Millions are retrenched in USA and around the world in this bleak economic outlook. With the economic crisis in force now, more people are turning to God for their solution and more attending churches. They are getting more spiritual to find answers to their woes. But the true meaning of Christmas is to celebrate the birth of baby Jesus who came to save mankind from eternal damnation and to give us eternal life in heaven.

I have been paid about USD250 for November’s work in writing articles for a US company. It pays about 1.4 cents per word for a 4 star rating and 1 cent per word for a 3 star rating. However, my rating has dropped from 4 star to 3 star this month. But the money comes in handy for Christmas and I intend to save it up for rainy days. No more lavish spending or impromptu buyings on impulse while window shopping. Need to save up for hard times as the economy is not so good with global recession looming in 2009. I just have to tell myself to work hard for such times. But it is nice to take a break now and then from work and remember the carefree days as a student without worries about savings and expenditure.
